Jardines was asked by an IT company to create a vehicle through which senior employees could be involved with the management of the business and take an affordable stake in it without diluting the holdings of the original owners. This was achieved under the old Capital Gains Tax rules and had the added benefit of leaving the original owners with their Entrepreneurs Relief intact.
